Why Mustang II's, you ask?

• How about nearly a million units produced over five years of production?
  
• They were based on an economy car (the Pinto) just like the 1965 Mustang was (the Falcon).
  
• Their powerplants carried over into the "Late-model" Mustangs (1979 - present).
  
• They had similar suspensions and body construction to the "Classic" Mustangs (1965-1973).
  
• They were the ONLY Mustangs produced between 1974 and 1978!
