Italy based Telecom Italia Mobile is working to implement wireless subscriber identification cards with Zigbee technology. This implementation will allow the handset to control televisions, act as banking cards, and act as mobile ticketing devices. These “Z-Sim” cards can be used with about any handset, rather new or old, and instantly gives the handset device a wireless interface.
