Nick Wrigley - Born Sept 1973. Lives near Manchester, England. Plays (jazz) drums and has just recorded an album with pianist Jonathan Lomax entitled "Suns" (1998) released on their own Oro Neese imprint. Nick joined Saturn listserv group as an avid lurker in November 1997. Turned onto Ra at university in Canterbury, Kent in 1994. First heard of Ra when Glen from free-punk band Trumans Water (now leader of Soul Junk) hailed "any record by the great Sun Ra" as his desert island discs.
Saddened by the current absence of rlc and other integral list members - Nick hopes to see them back soon and the announcement of Evidence's future Saturn album reissues. Fave Ra: Space is the Place (Blue Thumb, Impulse), Astro Black, The Antique Blacks, Dark Myth Visitation Equation, Lanquidity, Of Mythic Worlds, Night of the Purple Moon, Sleeping Beauty, "Love in Outer Space" from Out There a Minute and on and on and on.
