The Second Annual Culture-Centered Human Services Conference

Perspectives on the Cultural Contexts of Human Services
The Birmingham Model

Within the human service allied disciplines of education, mental health, management, and health related sciences there is a group of colleagues who are working directly with clients and/or teaching others to work directly with clients from a multicultural population. This conference will showcase specific examples of pro-active approaches to human services that take the cultural context seriously. We are dedicated to providing a forum for a multicultural experience.

We are using the World Wide Web to allow people from all over to read some of the papers presented at this conference. Feedback can be sent to Dr. Paul Pedersen at UAB and the presenters, as an option.
