Southern Appalachian Dulcimer Association

We are a group of people from the Birmingham, Alabama area interested in traditional music and traditional instruments. We meet once a month (usually 1 P.M. on the first Saturday) for jamming and a short business meeting. The most popular instrument in our group is the Appalachian (lap) dulcimer, but others play hammered dulcimers, guitars, etc. We welcome anyone who plays an acoustic stringed instrument and enjoys traditional music.

Most months we meet at the Bethlehem Methodist Church, at the Corner of Tin Mill Road and Allison Bonnett Drive, in Hueytown.
